Students of Richlands High School live within the western part of Tazewell County, residing in the communities of Richlands, Cedar Bluff, Raven, Doran, Jewell Ridge, and Pounding Mill.
Through FBLA, Richlands High School continues to prepare its students, specifically those with an interest in business, for the ever evolving business world. The utilization of internet access at Richlands High School has allowed their students to broaden their perspectives and become accustomed to global business interaction.
Mrs. Lou Bourne Billips, a former business instructor, organized the Richlands High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America in the fall of 1965. The chapter was installed by the Tazewell High School FBLA Chapter in January 1966 and had a membership of 15.
FBLA-PBL inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
Richlands High School Future Business Leaders of America expect members to seek to improve their community by contributing yoru efforts, seek to improve your club and peers, participate in club activities, aid in the succeess of club activities, and most importantly accept each task with confience in your ability to perform your work at a high standard.
